Is it really? Well what have I been doing for so long, its been weeks since I was last here? The fact is I've been both ill and busy. Autumn saw me rushed off my feet as I had an Open University exam in October, I then started my next course which ran over the christmas period into January (I've just completed that one) and now the text books have turned up for my next course which starts in a couple of weeks time. Plus, I've been poorly for what feels like forever. Most of December was spent with a sore throat that lasted two and a half weeks, which then developed into a heavy chesty cough which lasted all over the christmas holiday and which I am now only just starting to be free of. I actually can't remember vast chunks of the holiday as I felt so rough. I'm glad its all over now and I can move on but I was so busy with nativity plays and concerts etc. My four children have all had major social lives just recently and I feel this has been on a collision course with my attempts to get out there again and have a bit of a life for myself. I wasn't going to leave it this long before I posted again as I do want this to be a regular place for me to visit, but seriously December was just bizarre. I actually didn't write a single christmas card which I feel guilty about especially as I had wanted to make my own cards this year. I also didn't make many of the decorations that I had lined up to create in the run up to Christmas. I've decided to make one or two items per month this year so I should get things done that way. I have several things I started two years ago and beyond that still need finishing so this is a year to catch up and get things done. I even have a resolution - New Year, New Me. With me being so organised for the year ahead, what can possibly go wrong?
